Will grew up in Montrose on the western slope of Colorado. After visiting Hong Kong and Columbia as a teenager, he began to develop compassion for people with a lack of access to resources and opportunities. He attended the Colorado School of Mines, majoring in environmental engineering and minoring in humanitarian engineering, hoping to one day use his education to help others.
Today, Will lives in Grand Junction, Colorado and works for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, a national college campus ministry. One of the things he loves most about his job is getting to see the trajectory of students lives change for the better. He and his wife, Alison, who is also on the board for EFH, love traveling and have visited some amazing places like Nicaragua and New Zealand. Will dabbles in fly fishing and is wondering when it’s too soon to re-read and/or re-watch The Lord of the Rings.
